The prominent British electric aviation firm, Vertical Aerospace, is crossing the Atlantic to establish a sophisticated aerial transport system serving the New York City metropolitan region. Introducing eVTOL aircraft in this area promises emission-free urban flight, plus convenient, fast-paced travel to key destinations.

Operating out of a centralized hub at the recently upgraded Downtown Manhattan Heliport, the proposed network—supported by industry collaborators Bristow and Skyports—aims to provide rapid connections between the city’s core and several key regional destinations, including major international airports in New Jersey and Long Island.
